We have been invited to participate in a wonderful program where all you need is an internet connection and a viewing screen such as a computer or laptop! You could participate in this program from anywhere, your home, your hospital room, your school classroom (if teacher permitted) and even the comforts of your very own bed.
Melodic Caring Project has officially partnered with our organization to offer wonderful interactive music performances to as many of our children that are interested.
The Melodic Caring Project is a registered not-for-profit group which stands to bridge the gap between technology, music therapy and patient-artist relationship in being the first unified network of musicians streaming live music therapy to children in need.
Global Dance party is our next event with the Melodic Caring Project coming up this very next week!
Below is a message from Melodic Caring Project to our organization. Please read this and let me know if your family would be interested in participating!
"We are working on pre-production for the show and want to create an interactive experience for the kids with interviews and a Q&A with the dancers. Do you have kids in mind that would be excited about this and would engage in the experience? I would love to have kids and families on the live chat asking questions of the dancers and receiving direct answers from the dancers. We will have an MC who will ask the question and say who posed the question on the chat. example: "Kaydee would like to know what it feels like to dance on a stage in front a crowd?"
At this point it looks like we will be broadcasting the rehearsal and interviews on Nov. 1st from 5-6:30pm and the matinee performance of Global Dance on the 2nd from 11am-12pm. This will be a visually engaging broadcast with lots of beautiful costumes, colors and choreography. The audience at the Moore on the 2nd will be comprised of 700 school kids so there will be lots of enthusiasm at the venue. The more Starlight kids and families watching and participating the better."
