August 10, 2012 Cascade Recycling Center

August 10, 2012 11:00 am- 1:00 pm,  Cascade Recycling Center!

Does your family recycle? Yes!

Compost? Absolutely!

Or would you like to learn more about how to help the environment? Uh-huh!

Have you ever wondered what happens to glass containers and card board boxes once they are dumped into a recycling truck? Do you have any questions about the intricate details of recycling?

Come to the Cascade Recycling Center and enjoy a private tour of their facility. You and your family will not only learn how to help the environment but you will also see how King County manages the task. Experience exclusive footage of the sorting process as well as the opportunity to watch the experience live on the “Observation Deck.”

The visit will include about 45 minutes in our conference room, where we will discuss recycling procedures and observe sorting activity on closed circuit television. We will then watch the sorting process from the observation deck for about 5-10 minutes.

•     Tours are not appropriate for children under age 4.
•     Visitors ages 4-11 must be supervised by at least one adult for every four (4) young people.
