The city of Marysville presents its 81st year’s Strawberry Festival. The theme this year is “Just Imagine.” Starlight families have their own parking lot reserved for a bird’s eye view of the parade. Additionally, we will have use of the facilities there.
What: The City Of Marysville’s Strawberry Festival Grand Parade
More info: http://maryfest.org/FestivalDetails
Who: All Starlight Families!
When: Saturday June 16th between 5 and 6 pm, parade starts at 7:30 and goes until ten. We have been asked to arrive early because the streets will be very crowded. There are other events around the area (see link for details).
Where: The parking lot address is Schaefer-Shipman Funeral Home
804 State Avenue Marysville, WA 98270

How: Please RSVP to Jennifer at jennifer.starlightnw@gmail.com by Thursday June 14th with Strawberry Festival in the subject line. Please include your first and last name, and a mobile phone number.
The parking lot will hold several cars; therefore we will attempt to accommodate everyone. Additionally, I will be emailing each head of family member a special pass to get through the barricaded roads (except State Avenue).
*Important* you shouldn’t encounter any problems getting through the barricades on the streets leading up to Schaffer Shipman. You will not have access to State Avenue and will need to use the side streets to get to the parking lot.
